What activities can I do while at your log home?

At Timber Pines, we have an assortment of activities available. In our cottage we have a pool table in the basement for our sharks and an air hockey table. We have an array of board games in the upstairs cabinet as well as poker. For the outdoor seekers, we have 2 kayaks available on the property. There’s a public boat launch just down the road by car, 8 mins. We have satellite TV for relaxation lovers as well. There’s also a gym area in the basement for those who want to get a workout in. We have a large outdoor firepit with ample seating as well as lawn games available for entertainment. There’s also 2 saunas, one for each cabin/cottage.

What can I do in the French River town?

In the summer, the French River boasts many cute restaurants like Dee Dee’s Diner, Route64 and 827 Fish & Chips. Dee Dee’s is perfect for retro lovers; call her ahead to find out about any fun events going on. Like to hike? Killarney Provincial Park is just 45-mins drive from us. You can hike “The Crack” and see some stunning views and granite rock. The French River Provincial Park is a closer hiking option just 15-mins away. We’re also 15-mins from the French River Trading Post where you can shop til you drop. They have collectibles, fudge, moccasins and more. For our avid golfers, Voyageur Golf Course is just 5-mins away. Check out Google for other nearby courses and driving ranges.

Are pets allowed?

No, we do not allow pets in our vacation home. We have implemented a strict no-pet policy to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of our property for all guests. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
